<3 A tribute to our Mom <3
<3 I have been reading about transformative suffering. The idea being NOT that that we glorify suffering, but that if we're in it, we have a choice to learn from it and to grow in goodness. Of course I've also been thinking about our beautiful mom and her passing two weeks ago. Born in the depression and living 92 years, our mom knew a lot about suffering, but she never transmitted it to others. She always transformed it. She transformed it into generous love, beauty, kindness, selflessness, a few tears, and a lot of laughter. Her love was sweet. She was a quiet, gentle woman of faith, always honest, always real. She honored everyone by putting them first, and by God's miracle of love, she never ended up last. Thank you Mom for your love and your example and your soul model. You taught us how to love and how to be loved. <3
Jean was a lovely gracious woman, I so miss seeing her and her husband sharing the
front pew at church quietly holding hands. You could see the love and caring they had for each other. She was a true example of loving mother and devoted wife. May she rest in peace and be united with her family in heaven. Sending love to all her family in this difficult time.

Our family will greatly miss Mrs. Kent and are deeply saddened by her passing. She was such a sweet lady and a gem on Coleman Ave. We are thankful that we lived next to her for the past couple years. We are praying for her family's strength during this difficult time and sending you all hugs. If you need anything, we are next door.
Jean was always willing and accepting of me and my dogs during my years of marriage to Jim. Her cookies were a force unto themselves. Ian, my son, anticipated the arrival of her cookies each Christmas more than Santa. Even as an adult, the cookie arrival was the highlight of the season for him. A wonderful kind lady who will be much missed. I am sure she was happily met at Heaven's Gate by Dick. God bless
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Well we never knew this amazing woman, we go her granddaughter and we can see her influence in this woman every time with her. Our hearts go out to her family as they mourn the loss of this much loved mother and grandmother
