Many of us met Glenn at Brockport and have been friends since. Glenn and I shared interests in woodworking and history. Some of those discussions took place over long weekends in the Thousand Islands. They are some of my fondest memories. Fair winds old friend, you will be missed.

I met Glenn in college, as part of an extended group of friends that remained close for decades after. We had declared each other 'Uncles', and that was how we always addressed each other. He was a very gifted musician, and if there was ever a piano around that was where you'd find him. I use to really enjoy listening to him play. A sad loss, with condolences to his family. So very sad to learn about Glenn. When he worked at the U of R, my mother Carol was his supervisor and had the highest regard for him. He definitely made her life much better there and eventually took over her job when she had to retire. After her death, Glenn, for many, many years called on my mom's birthday to check in on our family. He was kind and humble beyond belief. I know he truly adored his daughters and was so proud of their accomplishments. Sue Tennenbaum

Glenn was a terrific friend and mentor to me. He was a great man. He was kind and compassionate. Honest and humble. And a great listener. He was very talented both as a musician and a woodworker. It is so sad that he is gone.
