Obituary of Foster D. Bliss

After a courageous battle with cancer & surrounded by his family, Foster passed away. He is predeceased by his son, Andrew; parents, James & Mary Bliss. Survived by his loving wife, Wendy Ashworth Bliss; son Alexander Bliss; sister, Joanne (Steve) Billings; niece, Ashley (Madhu) Kuttuva; great niece, Minka Kuttuva; mother-in-law, Carol Ashworth and brother-in-law, Norman Ashworth. As a veteran, Foster served 20 years in the US Naval Submarine Service.

Foster’s visitation will be held 4-7PM on Friday, at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. in Spencerport. His funeral service will be celebrated 11AM on Saturday at Spencerport United Methodist Church.  Interment at Garland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Special Olympics Virginia Area 11, PO Box 218, Fredericksburg, VA 22404 in Foster’s memory.
