Spencerport: August 27, 2017 at age 89. Predeceased by her husband, James S. Davis & daughter, Jeanne E. Stadtmiller. She is survived by her son, James H. Davis; grandchildren, Jake E. Betty’s visitation will be on Friday September 1, from 11 am – 12 pm followed by her funeral service at 12 pm in the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport. Interment in Parma Corners Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, 840 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14607 or Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.

Betty was born 10/20/1927 in Olean to Catherine Compfort. She worked for the phone company for numerous years.  She had two children, Jeanne and Jim and grandchildren Jake and Jordan.  Betty’s favorite place to vacation was the 1000 Islands.  Her time was spent going with her neighbor Mary to bingo at the senior center in town, she enjoyed doing puzzles and years back ceramics.  Everyone who knew Betty was lucky enough to have a ceramic Christmas tree.  She liked watching old TV shows and enjoyed Lawrence Welk in later years and kept thinking they were new episodes because she didn’t remember seeing them.  Everyone that knew her thought she was so sweet and she will be missed by many.
