Collura, Joseph R. “Ron”
Spencerport: June 7, 2017 at age 82. Predeceased by his parents, Michael & Laura Collura; sister, Edythe Belle. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley M. Collura; children, Judy (Joe) McVige, Lynda (Tom) Fien, Michael (Grace) Collura, Tammy (Larry) Senko, Lisa (Scott) Collura; grandchildren, Joseph Jr. & Jeremy McVige, Jennifer Ridge ley, Melanie Fien, Laura Dumrese, Michael & Christopher Collura, Alexander & Tessa Senko; brother-in-law & sisters-in-law, June Gilbert, Louise Halladay, Gary Halladay, Maren Halladay; many cousins, nieces & nephews.
Ron married Shirley Mae Halladay on September 4, 1954 and they raised five children. He served in the National Guard for 12 years and he worked as an insurance agent for Prudential for 5 years. Ron then worked for RG&E until he retired in 1993. He loved to golf and spend most of his time with his family and friends. He will be missed by many. Ron’s visitation will be on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 2-6 pm at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport. His funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, June 12 at 10 am in the funeral home. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the Mt. Carmel House, 288 Frisbee Hill Rd. Hilton, NY 14468.
