Alexander, Winston C. "Bud"

Byron: April 28, 2017 at age 75 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents, Robert & Margaret Alexander; brothers & sisters, Henry, Roberta, Dorothy, Charles, Donald and George. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Alexander; children, Kimberly (Peter Griffin) Birge, Kristine (Kraig) Reamer, Kelley (Kevin Kolb) Landers; grandchildren, Danielle (Stephen) Fennelly, Gerald (Katie) Birge, Jared (Kait Otis) Reamer, Morgan Landers, Rebecca Reamer, Kaitlyn Landers; great grandchildren, Adysen, Hannah and Dominic; brothers & sisters, Larry Alexander, Joyce Johnson, Shirley (Richard) Murphy; sister-in-law, Theresa Pengelly; brother-in-law, Richard Murphy; several nieces & nephews. Bud's visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 at Walker Brothers funeral home, 21 S. Main Street, Churchville. His funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment in Byron Cemetery with Military Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bud's memory to the Byron Fire Department Rescue Squad, 6357 East Main Street Byron, NY 14422.

Bud was born on July 11, 1942 in Churchville NY to Robert & Margaret Alexander.  He was from a very large family one of 10 children, Roberta, Henry, Charles, Joyce, Shirley, Dorothy, George, Frog & Larry. He enjoyed hunting and Bud helped on neighboring farms. He graduated from Brockport High School and joined the US Army.  He met Maryanne at the South Byron Hotel and married soon thereafter and had 3 daughters, Kim, Kris & Kelley. Bud was a plumber and was very active in the Byron Fire department for 47 years.  He enjoyed western movies, Nascar, which Dale Earnhardt Sr. was his favorite driver. Bud told corny jokes, and was very laid back and was always selling raffle tickets for the local fire departments. He will be missed by all who knew him.
