Obituary of Teresa Devlin

Rochester/Chicago: Beloved daughter, sister, and godmother died in a motor vehicle accident on Monday August 4, 2014 at age 27. Predeceased by her grandparents, Hugh & Angelina Devlin and her maternal grandmother, Frances Fox; grandfather, Paul Collins, uncle, James Collins. She is survived by her father, Dr. Albert (Merry) Devlin, mother, Nancy (Tom) Baker; sister, Dr. Catharine Devlin (Fiance', Tim Palac); brother, Ryan Devlin; step-brothers, Jason (Debbie) Baker, Thomas Shultz Jr. (Amy); step-sisters, Kelly Eggleston, Holly Baker; aunt, Mary Devlin;aunt, Vicki Fox; uncle, David Fox; maternal grandfather, William Fox; 1 niece and goddaughter and niece, McKenna Gibbs; 2 nephews; beloved cat, Leo. Teresa gave joy to all that she met. She died on the way to teaching Vacation Bible School at St. John's the Evangelist Church in Spencerport. She loved children and was working as a nanny as well as pursing her Masters Degree in Elementary education at DePaul University. She was active in youth ministry at her parish St. Gertrudes Church, in Chicago. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing volleyball, karyoke and trivia. Visitation is 1-3 PM & 6-9 PM on Friday at the funeral home, 15 West Ave, Spencerport. Teresa's funeral mass will be Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. John's the Evangelist of Spencerport, 55 Martha St, Spencerport. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
