Obituary of Joan Hull
Chili: October 4, 2013. Predeceased by her husband of 51 years, George N. Hull, infant daughter, Cheryl, father, Ronald Sweet, mother and step-father, Delia and Henry Arva, and George's parents, George and Helen Hull, brothers, Stanley and Bill and sisters, Donna and Alice. Survived by her sons; Ronald (Mary) Hull, Daniel (Anne) Hull, Steven (Barbara) Hull, Douglas (Heidi) Hull; grandchildren, Timothy (Tyler Cassidy-Heacock) Hull, Emily Hull Nicholson, Katie (Nicholas) Coffee, Amanda (Cole Heinrich) Hull, David (Sarah) Hull, Nicole Hull, Gaelan Hull, Matthew Hull; great grandchildren, Duncan & Connor Nicholson, Benjamin Coffee, Colin Hull; siblings, Jean (Loren) Smith, Bernard "Butch" Sweet, Ellen (Ken) LaMont, Susanne (Steven) Dunsford, Bruce Arva; sister-in-law, Nancy Jennings; many nieces and nephews; dear friends and neighbors, some life -long and some new.
Joan enjoyed time with family, reading, bird feeding and traveling with Dad and with the Senior Group. She loved collecting teapots. Joan volunteered at Gerber Hospital and All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont, Michigan and Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance. Thank you to Strong Memorial Hospital, the staff 7-1600, 7-3600, 5-1200, all of whom made a difference in the last three weeks of Joan's life.
Joan's visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 15 West Ave, Spencerport. Her funeral service will be Friday at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist of Spencerport, 55 Martha Street 14559. Interment St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities, 333 Westmoreland Drive, Rochester, NY 14620 in Joan's memory.
