Obituary of Matthew Zukaitis

Mauldin, SC: 67, loving husband of Rosalie Zukaitis, died March 11, 2013. Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Matthew & Irene Zukaitis. Matthew served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a Supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing and was a car enthusiast. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Theresa and Christina Zukaitis; his son-in-law, Jon Jones; two grandchildren, Kaleb and Chloe Geisler-Zukaitis; and two sisters, Eileen and Elaine Zukaitis. He was predeceased by his step-father, Paul Zukaitis. A funeral service will be held at Walker Brothers Funeral Home in Spencerport, NY on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 Noon. Burial will follow the service at St. John Cemetery in Spencerport.
