There should be a hall of fame for people like Charlie Smith.I had the honor of woking for this man at Delco Products for many years. He was straight forward and a great leader. Our loss and heavens gain. Truely a remarkable man. We'll miss you Charlie.

Dad, I will miss your sensibility, kindness, and sense of humor! I will always remember playing Tripoly as a family and you would deal the last few hands of poker to determine the big winner. It struck me as hilarious every time, was when you would announce the poker status and say 'Player has a pair of aces, pair of queens and then announce 'paregoric' when the next player had nothing poker-wise. Yesterday when laughing about this I discovered (what I already knew) was no one knew what 'paregoric' is. I guess only you and I knew... I laughed just as hard yesterday, and maybe a bit more, remembering how silly you were, and no one but me understood!! The times at the lake, the boat rides, eating exotic foods...are other memories I hold dear. Mainly, though, I am thankful for what a great job you did as a father. Gerry has so many of your fine qualities. I couldn't ask for, nor could I find a better husband and father to our son! Love you, Dad! Cindy

Dad I love you. You were always the rock of the family. You taugh us respect, love compassion for every one. your love for all your kids was extraordinary. He always took us on fun vacation to the lake for two week so we could swim and ski and fish. Dad and I would go fishing and we never cared how cold it was or how hot it was. We would all get together and play cards. He always like to do things as a family. He was the best dad in the would. Love you dad so much
