Obituary of Jeremy Ragan

Spencerport: Friday February 4, 2011 at the age of 16. Jeremy is survived by his parents Steve and Patty Ragan; his sister, Ashley Ragan; maternal grandparents, Albert and Virginia Marra of Olean; paternal grandmother, Lois Barbieri of East Aurora; godparents, Uncle Jim Marra and Aunt Marian Halperin; including and especially his devoted caregivers and friends Renee' Jeffrey, Diane Barber and his special friend, Deanna McManus. Jeremy was a man of few words. Loved is an understatement, when talking about how his family felt about him. Jeremy was the center of their universe. He went to BOCES Wilson High School where he was also loved by fellow Students and Teachers alike. Jeremy also known as "Moose" to a few, will best be remembered for his love of music, books, animals (which would include his trips to Springdale Farms), his weekly adventure to Wegmans and last but not least, his love of "bath time." Jeremy was referred to as the "Mayor" of his High School and of Canal View. Jeremy's personality is best described as adventurous, happy, and willing to do whatever it took to get your attention. Jeremy J. Ragan gave all who knew him, the gift of "acceptance." Jeremy's visitation will be held Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home 15 West Avenue Spencerport. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church 55 Martha Street, Spencerport, NY 14559. Interment Parma Corners Cemetery.
