April and Family – My sincere condolences for the sudden loss of your Mom and Grandma. After reading all the comments I realize what a lucky person she was. To have so many people love her is a testament to the kind of woman she was. She was blessed. I didn’t know her well, but we had a bond – we share Maria and Aaron as grandchildren. As time goes on the pain will ease, but you will never stop missing her. You will eventually be able to talk about her and think about her without tears. Your family will rejoice in the love you had for her and that she had for you. You will laugh and reminisce but you will never forget. God bless you Kathy –Rest in peace.

gramma, where to start is my question. well for one thing, i miss you like you wouldnt believe. your one of the best grammas anyone could ask for. you put up quite the fight mamma. you fought for the ones you loved until you knew it was ok to go. you know none of us wanted it to happen, but everything happens for a reason right? enough tears have been shed. its time for the smiles to break through and give us each a hug we all know we need. i love you gramma. dont you worry, me, lea, maria, and nicole will all keep up christmas for ya<3 you made it gramma, the storms over. now wheres my rainbow?(: ill see you soon mamma. give uncle paul a hug for me. i love you gramma. p.s.-when i come and see you, you, me, and your famous bologna sandwich, its a date! 4/8/11<3 RIP gramma

To my God Mother,I will always remember or family camping trips as a child. We would go to Wings in the thousand islands and Sky Brooke Camp Ground.Between the stock car in the garage and the cook out/ pool parties at your house, our families were together almost every weekend.I remember always looking at your kitchen table to see the new bouquet of flowers uncle Gary bought you every friday. ( boy were you spoiled)I remember the "game on" face when we went to the bingo hall as you lined up every bingo dobber in all sorts of colors. But what I will always remember the most is your big smile and your girlish laugh.RIP Aunt Kathy. love you always, Lisa Ann

I sat at my kithchen table last night thinking of how I was going to say goodbye to you today mom. It suddenly occurred to me that I have been with you since you were 17 yrs. old. My first memories of you were when grandma would take me to parades to watch you twirl. You sure could use a baton. I remeber you used to take me to the zoo and feed marshmellows to the bears and bottles of milk to the goats. I remember when one of the goats ate the lace off my dress, I thought you were gonna kill the poor thing. We have so many memories that no one else will ever have. Just me and you mom. I will hold those in my heart forever. I love you and will miss you so much. XXXOO

I spent much of my early childhood at Aunt Kathy's house...and the memories are too numerous to list...my heart at the moment goes to my cousins, who I love dearly, and who I know are in such pain. I leave you with words of hope, however, because I know your mother would rather you celebrate her life than mourn her death.... You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all that she's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

I can see it as if it was yesterday… “Momma” sitting on the back seat of the golf cart which was backed up to the pavilion at Lei Ti. Maria on one side, Nicole on the other and Aaron peeking over from the front seat. The band was pretty loud as Momma was bouncing to the beat - rocking back and forth into both girls while looking over her shoulder to give Aaron a smile. There is no more beautiful moment to me than those where Momma was loving up her babies.

Kath, you are a great lady, mother, grandmother and wife. I'll always remember coming home after work in the summer at Lei Ti sitting and talking to you about the day...the birds you saw in the feeder, the new flowers that bloomed, even chatting about what had happened on our favorite soap. I will miss you so much. Much love to you until we meet again. <3

I guess you never realize how much you really love someone until they are gone. I will always remember the great times we shared together. We had many great days at Bingo and some "not so great". We shared the "sisters" (Frosty & Traylee) and loved them almost as much as we loved our children. We watched Aaron & Adam grow together. My best time with you was when we went to the Cher concert in Rochester. Just too many good memories to list. You were a wonderful wife to Gary and a super Mom to Gary, Mike, April & Jane. Also, a very loving grandmother to all your beautiful grandkids. So sorry I cannot be there in person on Wednesday, but I will be there in thought and prayer. Love You Kathy

Kathy, I've missed you since we left Daien Lake. I remember all the great times we had. It seemed like we were joined at the hip. I remember the laser light show, when you tried to teach me to do the "Stomp". You took my daughter on a water ride when no one else wanted to go. The times we shared trying to ride your gradndkids bikes. We fell off so many times we laughed till we cried. I will always cherish these memories. Especially, when you and April came to my 50th birthday party. I will always love you and miss you. Love and prayers.

You were one special lady Kathy and I will always remember the day you took me to the hospital because I was ready to give birth and instead they wanted you to go as you were expecting Micheal at the same time. We shared many happy times and I know that Jesus is taking good care of you for your family which will join you again someday. Till we meet again, Kathy. Somehow let my brother know you are okay and happy okay. He is hurting so much as I am sure the rest of your family is also.
