My thoughts and condolences are with Maria and the family she loved and valued above everything else. I'll always be inspired by the grace and strength she displayed in her battle that lasted many years. Maria taught me about simple pleasures such as good food, family gatherings, and forgiveness for past problems - with an eye toward doing the right thing in the future. She will be incredibly missed but the legacy of her life will extend in all of us for as long as we have here on earth. I'm fortunate I had a chance to be part of her world. Dave

Maria was part of many days and nights of fun and laughter while we were growing up. She always had a smile and hug for me. Maria - My sister, my best friend. I love you and miss you. I road my bike this morning and thinking about you and wishing you could join me.
