Obituary of Jeanette Holzschuh

Holzschuh, Jeanette Spencerport: April 24, 2012. Predeceased by her husband, Charles W. Holzschuh Sr; son, Robert Holzschuh; several brothers & sisters. Survived by her children, Linda (Ron) Dobra, Chuck Holzschuh Jr. of FL, Richard (Kathie) Holzschuh & Cindy Houle; several grandchildren & great-grandchild; sister, Linda Bloss; brother, Walter Levick; many nieces & nephews. Jeanette's parents emigrated from Europe and settled in Sayre, PA. Growing up in such a large family had it challenges, but left Jeanette with many positive character traits. Her family fondly recalls the devotion displayed to them, she was their Matriarch. Holidays in the Holzschuh homestead were special. Jeanette lived in the family home from the time it was built in 1954 up until very recently. While she her main occupation was that of a housewife, she also worked at Star Market & Wegmans. Her talents also were on display with the many different crafts that she created. Jeanette's family will miss her presence, but will forever hold these memories close to them. Jeanette's visitation will be held Friday, 11AM until 1:30PM at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. in Spencerport. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2PM on Friday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha St. in Spencerport. Interment St. John Cemetery.
