I worked with John back at Kodak several years ago. When I joined J&J it was great to see a friendly face. I only had a short time to reconnect with John. I miss stopping by his office and sharing a laugh. Rest in Peace John, your family is in our prayers.

To The Hitter Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with John, he was a partition away from me, so I guess we were neighbors :). He was always smiling and laughing and very eager to show me his beautiful Grandsons on his phone :), I would not say that I ever eased dropped on John's phone conversations but it always put a smile on my face if I heard him tell his daughter that he loves her too! He will be greatly missed around here.

John was my younger brother.He was a man of God, gentle, kind, funny and loving.He is being welcomed into God's kingdom with open arms. Sometimes it is hard to remember that God's plan is always perfect.He touched the lives of many and the pain of this loss is devasting.John will be missed and remembered always.I was glad to have spent time with him before he left and the opportunity to say good-bye was of great value to me. Dear Beth, Kim, Lori, your extended families, and John's friends; I am deeply sorry for the loss of John, your husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Cheryl, John's sister, our families, our cousins, and Nancy and I, John's brother, suffer the same loss. John died, as he lived, with great dignity and a strong faith in God. He did things the right way. He lived a good life. He ran a good race. He was faithful and true, and provided very well for you, his family. While we will not be there for the funeral, Cheryl, Cousin Janice, and I were there to share John's final hours on this earth. For those final hours with him, we will be forever grateful. We know the funeral is for the living,and John is not there. We know where John is. As Jesus said in John 14: "In my Father's house are many mansions; I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know." John lived an exemplary life. He lived his faith. He fought a good fight. He finished well. His parents and his family were proud of him, and of his accomplishments. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hitter family today. I had the honor of working with John at Kodak. John, while always very professional, was also "one of the really good guys". I will remember his gentle way and positive attitude, and yes, his sense of humor and laugh. I will be praying for all of you as you go through these troubling times.
