Obituary of Lorilyn Harmer

Spencerport/Churchville: Thursday February 10, 2011 at the age of 72. Lori was predeceased by her husband, Evan Harmer. She is survived by her children, Greg (Laurie) Harmer and Mindy (Mark) Leibeck, all from Churchville; her grandchildren, Joshua (Toni) and Kristin Harmer, Jennifer and Zachary Leibeck; her sisters, Betty Klein and Georgie (Chuck) VerWiere; several nieces and nephews. Lori was a member of both, Spencerport and Churchville Fire Dept., Ladies Auxiliary. Born on May 5, 1938 at her home on Lyell Avenue in Spencerport, NY. Lori worked for Spencerport School District in the school cafeteria for 26 years. She would best be described by her family as loving, generous, caring, kind and very outgoing. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, crafts, collecting Precious Moments, "shopping," baking cookies, country music, being the Holiday Decorator Extraordinaire and above all else, attending all of her grandchildren's sporting events, especially Joshua's because he says he was her favorite, then Zach, then the girls. Lori's visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday at the Funeral Home 21 S. Main Street, Churchville, NY 14428, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 AM.
