Obituary of William Dyer

Dyer, William E. "Wild Bill" Churchville: Friday November 25, 2011 at the age of 61, with family by his side. Bell was predeceased by his parents, Jim & Ann Dyer and his brother, John. He is survived by his siblings, Jim. Mike (Eileen), Joe (Judy) and Tom (Cindy) Dyer, Cathy Jurs and Mary (Terry) Burchfield; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. No prior calling. Bill's Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Brigid Church, 18 Gibson Street, Bergen, NY 14416. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Moose Club Lodge #2244, 5709 Chili Riga Center Rd. Churchville, NY 14428. William grew up in Churchville and graduated at Churchville High School in 1970. He was a member of the Moose Club. William's nick name was "Uncle Grumpy". His friends were Walt Litolff and Carol who was best known as "Hollywood". William loved Harley's and loved children. He was a proud man and was a great mechanic, everywhere he worked and lived. He liked Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Ft. Myers and was a Earnhardt #3 fan.
