Grandpa, its been five months too long since you left us. not a day goes by that i dont think about you. and the lessons that you taught me, i didnt realize then at the time but i do now. what i wouldnt give just to hear your laugh again. i miss you more and more everyday. and know that you are watching over us. what an impact you had on the person that i am today. i love you grandpa!!! and miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aunt Jeannie & all my Dwaileebe cousins, My deepest sympathy on the loss of Chic. I'll always remember many fun memories (of long ago) when our families would get together. The last time I saw Uncle Chic was the fall of 2007, a few months before my mom passed. I was home visiting my parents, and Aunt Jeannie & Uncle Chic came down for Uncle Bill's birthday lunch. Dad, for the past few years, we did not speak or see each other for reasons that we both understood and discussed. You know you are my hero and how much I loved you! You sacrificed much for me. I remember your face while we sat on the front of our private catamaran off the coast of Puerto Varallta, Mexico, as well as the look on your face from your view out of your balcony when we were cruising in the Caribbean. You said it reminded you of your Navy days. I am happy to have been able to partially pay you back in some way for your contribution to my success. You will never be far away. I wish you peace and serenity. I love you always and forever and have told both of my boys, your grandsons, your Grandfather is a man of integrity, honor and compassion. Dear Aunt Jeannie and Family -We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Chic. I will always remember how much fun he was and all the fun we had when we came to your house. I will never forget breakfast when we came for the adults of course, cold pizza and beer. That really impressed me and I kept thinking that is what I am going to eat when I grow up. I love the memories we have as kids growing up with your family. Uncle Chic always made me feel special and always paid attention to me as a kid. He once told me it was because everyone was always paying attention to Diane. I loved him for that and I will never forget how caring he was towards me. I am sorry we cannot make it to the service for him but we just found out about it this evening. You and your family were so kind in coming when Mom passed away and it meant so much to us, so I really wanted to do the same for you and Uncle Chic. Our prayers and love are with you all.
