An amazing woman. Ellen packed alot of love into a small package. When the sun shines down on us, it provides a shadow that leads to her sweet soul.

Ellen and I lived in the same neighborhood in Medina growing up and our fathers both worked for Niagara-Mohawk. I was happy to reconnect with her in recent years when her Mom was at The Willows.....both Ron and I enjoyed visiting with her and you, Marshall, during the holidays there. Ellen was a beautiful person and I was so saddened to learn of her ill health and passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers, Roberta(Pettit)Furness Medina

Ellen was a dear friend from way back at FMC. Sias Lane will always remind me of her. Her boys and my girls took swimming lessons together. She was a wonderful Mom and wife. She will be missed.

To Marsh and family, I will always treasure my friendship with Ellen. We moved from Spencerport but continued our friendship via phone calls or emails over the years. She was an inspiration to me during difficult times and I will never forget her willingness to listen. She will find peace in the arms of the Lord.

I also worked with Ellen at Bernabi Elementary School in Spencerport. She always had a pleasant personality and we enjoyed getting together for coffee and "talk" (even after we both retired). I hadn't seen her for about a year and when I noticed her house was up for sale I just had to stop in to see why. That is when I found out that Ellen was having health issues. Forgive me for not keeping in touch more often during the last year. Time seems to slip by without our noticing it!! Marsh if there is anything I can do please contact me. I remember Ellen talking about her grandchildren, esp. Cory. We also talked about her son's motorcycle accident (a number of years ago). Then we also had conversations about her mom, her trips to Florida to help out her mom and then eventually bringing her mom back north. She valued her friendships with her Spencerport c-workers. Thanks Ellen, God Bless!

My deepest sympathy to Marsh and the whole family on your loss! I am so very sad to hear of her passing. I also worked with Ellen at Spencerport. We worked together for years in the reading dept. Ellen was more than a co-worker, she was my friend. As much as I enjoyed working with her, I enjoyed our talks about our families even more. I know how much she loved and treasured her family. She will be missed. Maryanne Goole

I also worked with Ellen at Spencerport School District for many years. Quite a few years ago Ellen and I were in the same class for instruction in cross-country skiing. We had such fun together during those classes and we would get to laughing so hard neither of us could stand up, let alone ski! Ellen loved her family and always had pictures to show everyone. There were a few of us who all worked together - including Ellen - who got together at least once a year to go out to dinner and catch up on what was happening with each other. We all looked forward to those good times. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Ellen will be missed by all who knew her.
