Obituary of Gary Beldue

Predeceased by his parents, William and Lorraine, survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marjorie, beloved father of Shawn(Hillary) and Rachel(Adam), sister Gail (Fred) Babinger, inlaws Paul and Rose Israel, feline companions Skyler and Casey, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many supportive friends. Gary's first priority was to his family, offering support in any way possible. He was an avid wood worker and carver and loved working in his garden, cooking, and reading. He was also a wine maker. Gary worked at the Eastman Kodak Company for 35 years and upon retirement was a courier, first for the Association for Retarded Citizens and then for Arieno's Dental Lab. He supported his children through all their childhood and adult activities, and his wife through her return to school, work and volunteer opportunities. Gary completed his final journey at home, with no complaints, with dignity, and in peace, with regular and consistent time spent with his family. His final days were no different than his entire life, enjoying life's simple pleasures, no hype, no grandiose behavior, no outbursts. Gary will always be a hero to his family; many lessons were learned by them throughout Gary's final days. We would like to thank those organizations that supported the family through Gary's final journey: Mary Cariola Children's Center preschool, the Monroe County Early Intervention Independent Providers, Thornell Road Elementary School, the Disaster & Emergency Services Department of the American Red Cross, special friends Bernice Morehouse and Janet & Bob Reiter, and neighbors, Ginny & Bob Lyness and Bev & Gary Cass. A special thank you also goes out to Drs. Sandy Sorrentino and Matthew Capuano and their staff and the nurses at Interlakes Oncology. Gary's visitation will be held Monday 4-8 PM at Walker Brothers Funeral Home in Spencerport. His Memorial Service will be 10 AM on Tuesday at White Haven. Entombment Private. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Lollipop Farm, Lung Cancer Alliance, or an agency of your choice.
