Obituary of Velma Wilkinson

Wilkinson, Velma M. Spencerport: January 14, 2013. Predeceased by her former husband Robert F. Wilkinson; sister, Wilma Burke. Survived by her children, Lynne (Ray) Ripperger & Jeffrie (Sheryl) Wilkinson; grandchildren Shawn Wilkinson, Kari Ripperger, Bethany (Gary) Mammarello, Kristin (Mike) Eldridge, Jennifer (Josh) Graupman, Jason (Nikki) Wilkinson, Kelli Wilkinson, Erik Wilkinson; great-grandchildren, Malia, Leona, Alexis, Lucas, Shaela, Aubrey, Alex, Bailey & Leah; brother-in-law, Lyle Burke; three nieces. Velma's memorial visitation will be held 2-4 PM on Saturday at the funeral home, 15 West Ave in Spencerport. Donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 7, Syracuse NY 13057 in Velma's memory. Velma was born on November 6, 1932, daughter to William & Lydia (Divens) Storms. She enjoyed bowling, needlework, bingo & baking. Her favorite pastime was taking her grandchildren to Disney World, spending time with them gave her great joy. Country music was her favorite and in particular she liked Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn. Velma's family and friends will miss her presence and cherish her memory.
