Obituary of John Atkinson

Churchville: Monday June7, 2010 at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife June (Beeson) Atkinson; his children, Olinda (Lawrence) Ford, J. Scott (Susan) Atkinson, Cynthia (Bruce) Kelly, and Laurel (Anthony) DePaul: 8 loving grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild: his siblings, Nanita Harriff and Saundra Peckham. Aside from his grandchildren, Jack's interests were hunting, fishing and auto racing - especially Formula One. In his earlier years, his meticulously tended vegetable garden was also the envy of the neighborhood. What amazed us all was his remarkable keen memory. He was always ready and willing to entertain. Jack's vivid tales, strict fact or hilarious fiction, will be sorely missed by all.
