Obituary of Louise Kinney

Louise Kinney, 83, of Spencerport, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 18, 2023 at Hospicare of Ithaca.

She is survived by her two daughters, Michele (Peter Deboer) Kinney, Suzanne (Brian) Dozoretz; grandson Max Dozoretz; brother Gilbert (Joyce) Coutlee, sister Delores Long and sister-in-law Corinne Coutlee, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Michael Kinney; parents Jean Paul and Gloria Gougeon Coutlee; sister Lucille McLaughlin, brother Jacques Coutlee, sister Helene (Ronald) Celentano, and brother-in-law Richard Long.

Louise was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and grew up on Seneca Lake, in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. She was a 1961 graduate of Penn Yan Academy. She and her husband raised their family in Spencerport, NY. Louise was a retiree from the Spencerport Central School District. Extremely kind hearted and always helping others, Louise will be dearly missed by many.

Services will be held on Friday, November 3rd, at Walker Brothers Funeral Home in Spencerport, NY.

Calling hours: 10am to noon

Memorial service: Noon

Interment at St. John’s Cemetery in Spencerport to follow
