“Mr. Fitzsimmons” was a family friend. He and my Dad enjoyed hunting, fishing and sharing a drink and many laughs. I was one of the many people he mentored. I wanted to go to law school and he allowed me to go to his office in Churchville on Saturday mornings to read law books and to talk about choosing this profession. I will always be grateful and many years later, after graduation from law school and jobs in other places, I returned home to open my own law firm. It was then I had the distinct pleasure of working with “Jim” as a fellow attorney.
