Obituary of Walter Veltz

Rochester- Passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at age 92 at The Quadrangle in Haverford, PA. He is survived by his sister, Joy (the late Joseph) Lawrence of Newton Square, PA; brother, David (Paula) Veltz of Leland, NC; three nieces and three nephews.

Walter was born in Rochester, NY on August 30, 1930, the son of the late Walter Edward and Blanche M. (St. Pierre) Veltz. Walter lived most of his life in Rochester before moving to Haverford, PA in January 2022. He was a parishioner of St. Theodore RC Church of Rochester. Prior to his retirement, he had a career as an expeditor for Kodak.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 24th at 11 AM from St John the Evangelist RC Church, 55 Martha St. Spencerport, NY 14559. Interment will take place in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
