Obituary of Mary M. Collier

Rochester: February 5, 2023. Mary is predeceased by her daughter, Leanna Marie Collier. She is survived by her husband, Davie Lewis, Jr.; children, Nicole Collier, Tiffany Snell, & Davie Lewis; grandchildren, Nyasiah Colon, Laylani Battle, Davieon Lewis, Deavonna Snell-Myers, Alanna Snell-Myers, & Daelonna Snell-Myers; sister, Shirley (Allen) Hawley; brother David (Theresa) Collier; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.

Mary lived for nothing more than being with her family. She found great pleasure in anything being done as long as we were together. She was a beautiful woman both inside and out who loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed warm sunny days and loved being near water whether it was laying out on the beach sunbathing or casting out her fishing pole. She also enjoyed listening to the rain.

Mary loved being out in the backyard swimming in the pool with her grandchildren and cooking up some barbeque. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, getting her nails done, talking to friends or simply relaxing at home watching TV. She also enjoyed baking and decorating cakes in all different ways to celebrate the grandchildren's birthdays. She had a great sense of humor and was kind and loving.
