She is predeceased by her parents Charles & Stella Perzik, her parents-in-law Albert F. & Sophie deGroat, and her brothers-in-law Mark deGroat and Thomas Prince. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Prince, and in-laws, Martha & Phil Richardson, Melinda & Tim Kewin, Michele & Tom Roche, Mary & Jim Ross, and Terry deGroat. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, and many dear friends.
Mary was a kind and giving person, whose biggest joy in life was the love of her family, and the times she spent with them. She met Mike when she was just 16 years old, and they married in 1974. They spent their early years of marriage adventuring with family, friends, and their loyal dogs Butch and Eddie across the U.S., before settling down to have children in the 1980s. Her favorite times became the family vacations, in any shape they took, from trips to Wildwood, NJ, to traveling the East Coast in the family motorhome, or vacationing with the now adult children and her grandchildren to the Outer Banks, NC. She was most content searching for shells along the seashore while her family played and relaxed around her. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday, February 11th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Walker Brothers Funeral Home at 15 West Ave., Spencerport, N.Y.. A short service will be given by Pastor Mark Ball at the same location at 11:00 a.m. for all who wish to attend.
