Oh so surprized and aching. Just phoned to wish my long time friend a happy spring to find phone not right. Checked internet to see if Roy moved. Found sad news. I part of me goes with him as it did with our mutual friends orellanas
If any family member wishes to call I would welcome this. We even talked of me buying his land as he didn't need it anymore.
I can see clear as day from our last visit with his friends and me in the livi groom with little dog by his side. He smiled looked well and was perky talkative usual self. Hugs to us all. 7165608881
My husband and I met Roy a little over a year ago when he stopped in at our farm one afternoon we were splitting firewood outside our barn he said he was going on a short trip and asked if I could look after his dogs buddy and Jenny and his cat Tuxie for a couple of days since I was just around the corner from his house I of course said yes and went over later to meet his four-legged friends and get instructions I love animals and fell in love with Buddy Jenny and tuxie all so sweet this was the beginning of a dear friendship with Roy and his little friends I looked after his doggies and Cat a few times after that when he needed he insisted on paying me always too much even though I asked him not to I would text him and stop over occasionally to check on him and visit he had a very kind heart and shared funny stories with me and he liked my pumpkin bread he told me about his family his daughter Rhonda and his son Thomas and his granddaughter he loved them very much one cute story he shared with me about his granddaughter was when Rhonda and her daughter were visiting his granddaughter went outside after a while they checked on her and saw that she had carried quite a bit of firewood from the backyard and stacked it on his deck for him she was a little girl so that was quite a bit for her to do this touched him very much I will miss Roy but I am comforted that he is at peace he would let me pray with him each time before I left and always we shared a big hug God bless you Roy I know you are in heaven the farm lady as he called me geri Yost
So many memories growing up! One that really sticks out to me was Halloween with Roy and my dad. They would dress up and scare the kids, they were very careful not to scare the little ones but oh boy the teenagers would running screaming from Roy’s house! The practical jokes they played on each other and the other neighbors were endless! We were never short on laughs with Roy around! Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all! He will be missed!
