Obituary of Louise M. Cleeton

Louise Miles Cleeton, 94, passed away peacefully at home in Greece, NY on September 26^th into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born Louise Ruth Miles in Throop, PA on February 25, 1928, to Edward Miles and Helen Adams. Louise was the last of her 11 siblings.

As a teen, Louise moved to Buffalo, NY where she graduated from Riverside High School in 1945. She met her late husband Rev. Jack Cleeton while attending Central Bible Institute in Springfield, MO. They settled in Spencerport, NY where Louise worked as an accountant at the Ogden Telephone Company until she retired in 1992.

She cherished memories of her grandsons, shopping, and gardening with her late daughter Elaine, watching the Yankees games with her son Jack and traveling with both children to China and England.

Louise is survived by her son Jack R. Cleeton II, grandsons Benjamin Cleeton and William Cleeton-Gandino, and son-in-law William Gandino.

Calling hours will be held at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Ave,. Spencerport, on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 2-4 pm. A celebration of life will be held at 10 am on Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Greece Assembly of God Church, 750 Long Pond Rd. The burial is afterward at Fairfield Cemetery in Spencerport.
