Obituary of Marion Harris

Marion Jane Harris passed away in her sleep on January 28, 2022, after a long illness.

Born to John and Mary (Vallario) Martoglio July 19, 1948, she is survived by stepsons David (Wendy) Harris, Richard (Tracy) Harris, four grandchildren, Ally Harris, Adam Harris, Alexandra Harris, and Owen Harris.  Also, surviving are sisters Norma (Pasquale) Linzalone, Joan (Rudy) Perini, Francis (Raymond) Babineau. Marion is predeceased by sisters Doris (Anthony) Pizza and Gilda Martoglio.

 She graduated from Georgian Court University in Lakewood N.J. earning a BA degree in art.  She was an art teacher in a grammar school, worked for IBM, and opened her own ice cream shop. Her real calling, however, was in her last job as a librarian and storyteller for children and parents.  She loved Arizona and lived there for forty years before moving back to the east coast.  The desert and mountains were a thing of beauty to her.
