Obituary of Melody L. Tennity

Passed on 12-22-21 (A palindrome - she would have loved that!).

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, Melody lost her courageous battle with cancer at the age of 77.

Melody is survived by her husband of 61 years, Francis H. Tennity, daughter Wanda (Kenneth) Kowalski, son Jeffery Tennity, grandchildren Rachael (Scott) Bryant, Eric Kowalski, Samantha (Mike) Ross, great-grandchildren Isla Bryant and Isabelle Ross.

Melody is also survived by her sister-in-law Karen Tennity and siblings Lynne (Mike) Mullins, Cindy (Dick) Palasczynski, Dawn Kittle, Lani Tozer, Lewey Patrick, Arthur (Pam) Knab, Renee (Dave) Russell, Jason Knab, and many neices and nephews.

Melody was a force of nature. She spent many years raising and showing quarter horses. Her next venture was traveling the country as a member of the Bassngal women's bass fishing circuit. She loved nature, books, writing, fishing, hunting, cooking, sewing, "sister's trips", and all things creative. She loved the color blue. She was an amazing person who loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with her whole heart. Her hugs were frequent, long, and all-encompassing. She loved life and lived it fully. She was amazing.

The family would like to thank the volunteers and staff at Webster Comfort Care Home for their care of Melody and the family during her last days.
