Obituary of Lisa Marie Baker Re

Lisa, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away with family by her side on December 9, 2021, at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY at the age of 61.

She was married to her beloved husband, Michael William Re for 34 happy years. She is also survived by her son Scott; grandchildren, Shane and Kinslee Re; mother, Ella Ihly Baker; sister, Susan Baker Switzer (Trent); brother, Steven (Kathie) Baker; niece & nephew, Nikki & Travis Baker; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; many close friends who loved her dearly.

Lisa graduated from Cazenovia College and from SUNY College at Brockport. She was a schoolteacher at Christ Community School in Brockport and worked at SUNY Brockport in food service until 2005. She had lived in Holley, NY since 1995. She was a very strong woman of faith in Jesus. She loved music and loved to sing. She was very artistic and creative with crafts, painting, drawing and home decorating.

She was a great daughter, sister, mother, wife, and grandmother who served her family with unconditional love and prayer. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, who dearly loved their Nana. She loved gardening and working around the house both outside and inside. Lisa was also quite active within her community, and with her church, Living Hope Assembly of God in Hamlin, NY. She was a prayer intercessor and warrior for numerous people. She was one who reached out to the less fortunate. Lisa was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Lisa's church service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, 11:00 am at Brockport Free Methodist Church, 6787 Fourth Section Rd. Brockport. Interment following reception in Hillside Cemetery.
