Obituary of Carl F. Fitzsimmons

Peacefully on November 13, 2021, at age 94. Predeceased by his parents, John & Jessie; sister, Alice Simpson; son, Blaine. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years Barbara; children, Joel (Amy), Lisa (John) McHugh, Matthew (Alicia), Carl “Butch” (Jen), Cynthia (Doug) Coomber, Patrick (Shelli), Sheri De Rue, Shane, Timothy; 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Carl was a WW II Navy Veteran and retired from the US Post Office. A special thanks to Megan Crowe and Heather Sullivan as well as our special angels, Crystal and DJ Greary.  

Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 4:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home 21 S. Main St. Churchville. His funeral service will be at the funeral home, Friday November 19, at 10:00 am. Interment in Maple Grove Place.
