Dad, please rest in peace and love knowing that your family on earth loves and misses you. Know that you were a loving and caring father who was also patient and giving. You took us to Carrol’s on our birthdays, coached our soccer teams, led our Cub Scout packs, and started our BMX races.
You were also a loving and caring husband, providing care for your wife through many difficult health issues, helping her with her vegetable garden and continuing to nurture it after her death, and carving so many of those big ole’ pumpkins. Over the years they probably numbered in the hundreds.
You were also a loving and caring brother to your brother and two sisters, and a caring grandfather to your six grandchildren.
Know that your life on earth was filled with love and that your gentle kindness will be remembered by all of us for the rest of our lives.
Rest easy now with our Lord, the father, free from pain and your recent daily struggles. Rest easy knowing that we will carry on your name, your passions, your love for your family, and memories of our time together.
