Obituary of Carol S. Dye
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love at home on May 3, 2021 at age 86. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert, and her kitty Rascal. Carol is survived by her sisters, Judith Parson, Linda Brady and her in laws, Carol & George Lattimer; cousins, Patrick Sheenan, Marilyn Sheenan, Marlene Barnes; nieces and nephews, Doug (Alison) Alianell, Kim (Steve) Masetta, Robert (Dustie) Williams, Michael (Michelle) Watson, Wayne (Sharon) Williams, Donna Garcia, Heather (Joseph) Secondline, Richard (Elizabeth) Petty; many great nieces, great nephews, and dear friends.
Carol retired as the Executive secretary to the Superintendent of Spencerport Central Schools and was a proud member of the Spencerport Central Retirees Association. Carol loved Spencerport and held great memories of walking the canal path or playing golf at one of the many courses with the love of her life of 47 years. Carol and Bob retired early and did not waste anytime enjoying the fruits of their labor. They traveled, skied, played golf, and enjoyed the company of friends and family at poolside. During travels Lake Placid became “their” special place.
The family would like to thank her dear friend Lynne Mullins for her love and companionship over the years. Her family of in laws, Carol and George Lattimer, their daughter Heather and her husband, Joseph Secondline and their boys for their love, comfort, and kinship. A special thanks to family members, Elizabeth and Rich Petty and family for your unending love and care. The family also thanks the passionate people at Home Instead and the great care she received by the angels, Mel and Josie.
Her life created many memories for those who had the chance to be part of it. Remember those times for “they” are smiling down on us, dancing through the clouds. You may honor her memory with donations to Lollypop Farms, 99 Victor Rd Fairport, NY 14450.
As per Carol’s request no services will be held.
