I was law clerk to Marlene's court clerk, and I could not think of a better person to work with--thoughtful, funny, caring, curious, and a strong voice for the union, too! She stood firmly on what she knew was right and everyone around her was better for it. I will miss her.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Marlene's tragic passing. We served together on the Rochester Labor Council's Committee on Political Education. I will never forget her passion for and commitment to the labor movement, and she will be greatly missed.

I have many fond memories of Marlene at various union and work events over the years. She was a force to be reckoned with and never shy about expressing her opinion. She truly cared about the people she represented and worked tirelessly for them. Marlene was always very kind to me and helpful when I was just starting out in the court system. She will be missed!

I'm so sorry to hear about Marlene's passing. I will always remember what a good clerk and dedicated employee she was for Supreme & County Court, and how much she cared about CSEA and the members she represented. She gave her best to both places and always shared her knowledge freely with others - especially making sure union members knew what was going on. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. God bless. - Sandi G.
