Remembering Poem

By Kelly Muszak

Husband, Brother, Teacher, Dad

Many roles in life you had.

Always there to listen, offering words of advice.

One liner jokes, golf shots precise.

As I held your hand, trying to make you see,

That you were the best dad you could possibly be.

I picture your parents are with you again.

Your brother’s embrace, asking “Where have you been?”

As I stand at your golf tee, a place you held dear.

I sense your calm spirit and quiet smile near.

Until we can meet again, we’ll hold you in our heart.

Your impact in our lives will never depart
