Obituary of Shirley M Oakes

ROCHESTER - Peacefully on August 28, 2020 at age 88. Predeceased by her sister Beverly Convey; brother Kenneth Dodson. Shirley is survived by her loving husband Joseph Coniglio; children Cheryl (David) Petrulis, Lewis N. (Diane) Oakes & Mary Lou (Ronald) Rozzi; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; several nephews.

Shirley was a very loving, caring and giving woman who was known as "Mom" to many, especially the kids on Caledonia Ave in Scottsville. She enjoyed camping, country music and LOVED animals. She also enjoyed traveling with the Wheatland Chili Highschool Bag Pipe Band. The mascot at the time was the Scotsman.

No prior visitation. Her entombment in Ascension Garden Cemetery will be held privately.
