Obituary of Lena Sformo

Sunday June 28, 2020 at age 90. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Predeceased by her husband, James; brothers, Scott Hayden, Stuart Hayden and Dominic DeFilippo. Survived by her children, Anne (David) Edelman, Tina (Fred) Sears, James (Janet) Sformo; grandchildren: Eric (Jessica) Thomas, Carrie Thomas, Megan Sears,Jennifer Sears, Cameron Sformo, Lauren (Brendan) Leavy and Andrew Sformo; great-grandsons, Hayden and Cas Thomas; sister, Rose Wiercyzki; sisters-in-law, Florence Pontillo, Helen DeJough, Lorraine (Karl) Dilcher, Marcie Weicher, Linda Sformo, Rose Mary Christian, several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service and interment will be held at St. John The Evangelist Church in Spencerport.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be to The Episcopal Senior Life Communities Employee Development and Recognition Fund, 1570 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14610 in Lena’s memory.
