Passed in peace on January 15, 2019, at age 86, after a long illness. Joe will be greatly missed and survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Barbara; daughters, Patti (Bob) Ottley, Marie (Jeff) Frew; grandchildren, Mike (Kellie) Ottley, Beth (fiancée Leah Rodriguez) Ottley; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jacob Ottley; siblings, George (Carolyn) Hiza and Pat Falk; nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends and neighbors.

Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved a joke and made people smile. Special thanks to all the care providers at Wilmot Cancer Center, the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Hospital, and Leroy Village Green. 

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be gratefully accepted at Wilmot Cancer Center, Leroy Village Green Nursing Home, or Lollypop Farm in Joe’s memory.
