So sad to hear of the loss of your mom. My mom(Marge)and dad ( Don Winslow) we’re old friends of both your parents. She worked at Spencerport with my dad.
My dad has passed but mom just turned 97.
I remember seeing your mom sometimes during her visits with my parents . She was a lovely lady with a beautiful smile.

I had the privilege of being one of her kids although she had many kids through the years at Spencerport Central School District her daughter Nancy and I are BFFs...
I was so thrilled that she got to go to the class of 68 50th reunion escorted by Nancy and Torb riding in style in the Corvette !From what Nancy told me it was a great joy for her to be there and see everyone....she always treated me like one of her own and teased me that I spelled Rita wrong she will be greatly missed by many including me... see you soon Mama...
Nancy - sorry to see of your mother's passing. Although we had lost touch, her joyful spirit is still a memory. Also, remembering the love that she and Fred shared. Nancy, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mother will be missed by all, including the teachers that worked with her in Trowbridge. Reita was always there to help and with that twinkle in her eye (along with her friend, Betty) would always raise our spirits!

We knew Reita well when she was an aide at the Trowbridge School. She had a quick smile and a kind heart. She crocheted a baby blanket for us when our son was born. She was a lovely lady who will be missed. Our condolences to Nancy and her family.

One of the nicest ladies I have ever met. I wish I had gotten the chance to see her when you were here in June for our reunion. She now is in heaven seeing old friends and making new ones. She was the best!
