Dear Arda, Rose, and Priscilla I'm sending all of you my deepest sympathy for you loss. I have known John for over 20 years as I worked at The College At Brockport. John was always passionate, polite, and thoughtful. I came to know John on a more personal level when I worked for him on his lawn mowing service for over a 5 year span. He treated people with respect and was rewarded reciprocally. I will miss him but not as much as you will. RIP John. ! Sorry I missed your service as I recently discovered your passing.
I met John through his work at SUNY Brockport when my husband Greg worked with him. In the mid-1980s, he loaned us his big truck so we could pick up our kitchen cabinets and get them into the new home we were building. It had no entry stairs, yet! He would periodically stop by to chat and see how we were doing. John spoke his mind and he had a big heart! We offer our sincere condolences to his family.

John, The guys are really going to miss you at Sunday morning breakfast. We had a lot of laughs together, and we shared a lot of work projects together. You were as honest as the day is long. You will be with the landscape in heaven keeping things nice and tidy. God speed. Warren
