Dear Carol and family. We were so saddened to hear of Arnie's passing. You have been our neighbors for almost 50 years and we have nothing but fond memories of "the Baker's" . Arnie always willing to give us hand when help was needed. I'm sure he has left you with loving, fond memories to help all of you get through this difficult time.

In all the years I knew Arnie, I regret never telling him that I thought he was one of the most hard working, sincere, honest and tolerant people I'd ever met. I think everyone that knew him thought of him as a calming, level head. I admired him for all those things, and most of all, he accepted me as I was. Certainly, that he had any hearing left after age 50 was nothing short of miraculous after what Rick, Keith and I did with our musical instruments blasting throughout the Baker household. I apologize here and now to Carol and her ears. Much love and respect to Mr. Baker and his family.

I was saddened to hear of Arnie's death. Death is so hard on us because we were not meant to die. We die because Adam & Eve sinned and passed on sin & death to all of us, please read Romans 5:12. However, God because of his love for us gave us a hope by sending his dear son to earth to die for us, please read this at John 3:16. His sacrifice opened up the way for each of us to have everlasting life. In addition, Revelation 21:3 & 4 states there is going to be no more death and those who have died have the hope of being resurrected, please read John 5:28 29. All these promises will take place under God's Kingdom, the Kingdom we have been praying for for hundreds of years now when we say the "Lord's Prayer". I pray these word from God's word the Bible will bring you all comfort as you mourn.

My sincere condolences to the Baker family. Mr. Baker was such a good man. I will always have happy memories of spending time at the Baker house as a kid. Back then, there was a steady stream of visitors to their house. I was one of them, always knocking on the door, looking for Rick or Keith. I recall shooting baskets in their driveway, using their back yard as a baseball & football field, playing video games, working on the computer and shooting pool with Rick & Keith till all hours of the night. All of us visitors must have driven Mr. Baker crazy at times, but he and Mrs. Baker always welcomed everyone in. Gosh, they put up with a lot from us. I will always remember that kindness and generosity.
