Obituary of John Leonard Kososki
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
--2 Corinthians 4: 16-18
On October 17, 2018 at age 54, this good and faithful servant arrived at his eternal home. John grew up in Warsaw, NY, and always felt at home in the quiet countryside. Never without an outdoor hobby, he enjoyed bike riding, target shooting, camping with his kids, and driving International tractors. He could build and repair almost anything, a skill which he enjoyed most when he used it to help others. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, a loyal employee of MKS Instruments for 30 years, and a humble, devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Through everything he endured, his simple joy and gratitude for life never wavered. He led a life of sincerity and faithfulness; those who loved him will spend the rest of their own lives learning from his example.
