It seems eons ago that I worked with Jon at Kodak in process engineering, and it was a delightful reunion every time our paths crossed in the time since. I remember how Jon could light up the gloomiest day with his presence and wit. When Jon was around, I always felt I was in the room with someone who had unusual energy, someone extraordinary. He always had fresh ideas to share too, and a willingness to take a new angle on some problem or try something new. I was so proud of him and his accomplishments, and know he worked hard while advancing his skills, education, and career. Jon is one of the good guys, and I know he'll be missed by many. To Jon's family and closest friends, I'm truly sorry for your loss.
