Brown, Kevin John
Spencerport: May 24, 2017. After a courageous battle with cancer, Kevin passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 74. Predeceased by his parents, John & Rosaline Brown; brother Richard Brown; sister, Kathleen Brown. He is survived by his loving partner, Sharon Brockmann; children, Kevin (Rene) Brown, Kristen Streightiff, Tamara (Mike) Schreiner, Cara (Todd) Laney, Richard (Tina) Brockmann; grandchildren, Ashley (Anthony), Michael & Morgan Schreiner, Jordan Frazier, Spencer & Camryn Laney, Brianna & Nicholas Brockmann, Victoria & Alex Brown, Cooper & Isabelle Streightiff; sisters, Sally Brown, Noralyn (Charlie) Bayer; several nieces & nephews. Kevin was a US Air Force Veteran. He retired from IBM after 30 years and then worked as a Security Guard at the Federal Building. Kevin loved sports, was involved in KPAA and was an avid golfer. Kevin’s Visitation will be on Friday May 26, from 3-7 pm at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport. His memorial service will be held Saturday, May 27, at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha Street, Spencerport. Interment private. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in Kevin’s memory.
