O’Brien, Robin I. (Castrechino) On March 29, 2017 at age 61. Predeceased by Lee J. McMann, parents, Bernard and Marian Castrechino. Survived by her children, Thomas (Kristie) O’Brien, Tammy O’Brien; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Frank Castrechino, Alan Castrechino,Bernard (Wendy) Castrechino; brother in law, Gary (Pat) Stratton. Robin Castrechino O’Brien was born on August 1, 1955, grew up in Hilton with her parents Bernard & Marion Casterchino. Her dad was a truck driver and her mom was a homemaker. Robin completed high school and worked in the food service industry, because she really enjoyed helping people. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Robin has 4 grandchildren and one on the way, Brianna Lee Barber (19), Bryant Thomas Barber (15), Braelynn Robin O’Brien (10) and Emma Lee O’Brien (3). She was known for hosting many cookouts and family gatherings. Robin always hosted a Christmas Eve family party that we all looked forward to every year. The greatest days of her life were when her grandchildren were born. She enjoyed bowling, but most of the time it was helping others and making them happy. Robin didn’t spend much time watching her favorite shows and movies because others always came first. She was strong willed and opinionated, she believed if you wanted something you needed to work for it. She would always let you know how she felt. Tammy and Tom remember being embarrassed many times in stores when she thought she was being wronged. Robin was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
