Obituary of Patricia C. Woityra

Woityra, Patricia Campbell Churchville: September 2, 2016 at age 75. She was an avid reader, with a lifelong love for literature. Beloved high school English teacher at Wheatland-Chili, Churchville Chili, and Greece Olympia. Honored as Rochester News 8 Teacher of the Year in 2000. First woman elected to Riga Town Board in 1974, served again after retirement from teaching. Trainer of several successful Standard bred racehorses. Predeceased by her husband, William; parents, William and Lydia Campbell; brother, Randolph Campbell; husband’s parents, William and Viola Woityra; his siblings, Vincent Woityra, Frances Kolbas and Edward Woityra. Survived by sons, Shane (Ashley) and William (Katherine); sister-in-law, Mae Bartman; nephews, David Bartman, John and Robert Kolbas; nieces, Shelly Bartman and Deborah Watson.
