Every memory of you and Arlene has been a joy. You had an infectious smile and laugh. You also led all to believe that life never disappointed but bestowed blessings on you and your family! This positive outlook on life drew many toward you. I will miss visiting with you and Arlene after church on Sunday's. Know that you filled in for the absense of my own father for many years. You we're always loved!
I am very grateful to have been at your side over the last couple of weeks, to hold your hand, tell you often that I love you and how much you are a great dad. I will miss you terribly. I am so glad you are with Jesus and mom, finally together and never to part.
I didn't know Marvin well. I did however, meet and got to know his wife, Arlene and his children, especially his daughter Linda. My heart goes out to those children and the rest of the family who have burried their mother and father in just one month. They were there for both parents day in and day out. What a blessing they all were to Marvin and Arlene. Their mom and dad are once again together.
Dear Dad, I want you to know that the influence in my life helped shape me to become the women,wife mother and grandmother I have become. You and mom gave me a godly inheritance that is worth more than any momentary gift.
