Joan's Family, I am a volunteer at MCH. I have come to know your precious mother over the years. I would relish in telling her that she and her twin sister would make 100. That she would grin and smile with joy when I came near brought warmth to my heart. She was so proud of her family. She loved to talk with her sister when possible. Thank you for permitting me to bless this dear lady when she was near the end. She was dear to my heart! In our Lord's mansion there are many rooms... Dave Smith

My family and I were Sorry to hear about Joannie's passing. Joannie was my mom's roommate at MCH,she was a sweet lady. My mom Theresa Bennett passed away last May 13th, so now there are two precious angels in heaven.

Kathy and family, I went to St. John's with Kathy ( Class of 1962 ) I may have met your mom thru my mom at school activities ( Marge Speares ). So I have not seen you Kathy in some 54 yrs.But I never will forget our class and our class picture on the steps at St Johns school..I am sorry for you loss and am glad your mom lived to her age..I lost my mom back in 1988 so you at least had her for a longer time..Take care Kathy and God Bless you and your family..Sincerly Herb Speares

So sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I grew up across the street from your family. I don't know if you knew this, but my father, Aaron, was working on our garage door while we were at school when we were young children. His hand got caught in the spring on the door. No one was at home and he started yelling help me, someone help me. Your mother came over from across the street & either lifted or put down the door to relieve the tension of the spring to free his hand. He was so appreciative and very grateful that she was home that day. Our condolences to you and your families. She was a very dear, sweet lady.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Huss was a favorite patient of mine when I was at MCH with student nurses. She and I would often talk about how the Yankees were doing. I will keep all in my thoughts and prayers.
